Rev. John Edward Perrell

Rev. John Perrell, 45 of Ronnie Mock Road passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon June 29, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Egbert Craven, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, July 1st at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Rev. Perrell was born in Davidson County on July 14, 1965 to Gene Edward Perrell and Reba Mock Perrell. He was employed with Exopack and a member of his church Reedy Creek Baptist. He was also a member of the OMCBA Hunting Club. Surviving are his parents, his wife Tonya Gobble Perrell of the home; two sons, Joshua Thomas Perrell, Jacob Nathan Perrell; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Perrell and Sarah Caitlyn Perrell; one brother, Garth Perrell and his wife Lynda; one sister, Wendy Hughes and her husband Greg and an uncle Tommy Mock all of Reedy Creek. Memorials may be made in honor of his children to their education fund, 390 Ronnie Mock Road, Lexington, NC 27295. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
