Rev. Leon Leverne Little

Rev. Leon Leverne Little, 74, of Parks Road passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Walters Grove Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Revs. Chris Simpson, Ted Tuggle and Gene Little conducting services.

Burial will follow at Southside Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the home on Parks Road following the funeral service on Tuesday.

Rev. Little will lie in state Monday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.

Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, those planning on attending funeral services, should practice social distancing and wear a face cover.

Rev. Little was born May 2, 1946 in Horry County South Carolina to Leon Everett Little and Annie Ruth Smith Little.

He loved collecting coins and was a member of the Eagle Coin Club. Leverne was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Brenda Sue Cashatt Little and a brother, Joseph Little.

Surviving is a son Leon Dwayne Little of the home; two daughters, Leisa Dawn Little of Lexington and Ronda Little Clark of Lexington; three brothers, Rev. Gene Little (Carol) of Lexington, Steve Little (Donna) of Lexington and Gary Little of Lexington; two sisters, Eula Gabbard (Gary) of Lexington and Frances Little Bullins (Bobby) of Lexington; and 1 grandchild, Samuel Allen Soles.
