Reva Everhart

Reva Trantham Everhart, 98, of Brian Center, formerly of Turner Road, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at the nursing home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Davidson Funeral Home by Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Everhart was born February 5, 1910, in Davidson County to John Henry Trantham and Lillie Maie Barnhart Trantham. She was married to William Avery Everhart, who preceded her in death in 1986. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Betty Arlene Everhart. Surviving are a son, Gilbert Everhart and wife, Carolyn, of Lexington; one grandson, Neil Everhart; four step-grandchildren, Teresa Houston, Douglas Whisenhunt, Ernest Whisenhunt, and Lester Whisenhunt. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son on Turner Road.
