Revonda Black Hedrick

Revonda Raye Black Hedrick, 67 of Rockcrusher Road, passed away peacefully Friday September 4, 2020 at her residence after two years of declining health.

A graveside celebration of Revonda’s life will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Cotton Grove Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Benny Clodfelter. The family will see friends outside of Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 and other times at the home on Rockcrusher Road.

She was born in Davidson County October 20, 1952 to Ray Thomas and Juanita Meachum Black. She was a graduate of Ashmore Business College and had worked for the Davidson County Tax Office and Carolane Gas Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant twin sister and three additional infant sisters.

Surviving Revonda, are her husband of 46 years, Marty Hedrick of the home; a son Martin Hedrick, daughter Rhonda Kaye Tate (Chris) both of Lexington: grandchildren Haley Hedrick, Korbin Tate and Madison Tate all of Lexington; her brother Charles Black (Ellen) of Salisbury and her sister Sherry Tyree of Lexington; also leaving behind several nieces and nephews whom called her “Sissy”and her faithful canine companion Carly.
