Rex Walser

Rex Bennett Walser, 61, of Cliffside Drive, Glade Valley, NC, died Friday, December 25 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, December 30 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Keith Bruner. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service and other times at the home of the mother on Yadkin College Road. Mr. Walser was born October 27, 1954 in Davidson County to Benny William Walser and Charlotte Hartley Walser. He retired from PPG and loved the outdoors and hunting. He is survived by his son, Brian Walser (Angela) of Denton; his mother of Lexington; his grandmother, Louise Hartley of Lexington; his brother, Hugh Walser (Brandy) of Lexington; his sister, Sondra Phillips of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Brianna, James, Triston, and Houston.
