Rhonda Bennett

Rhonda Mae Lockhart Bennett, 52, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at her home.

In order to comply with directives from Governor Cooper’s office, a private graveside service will be held at the Lexington City Cemetery with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Davidson County on May 24, 1967 to Clinton Ronald Lockhart and Lillian Mae Heninger Lockhart. She was a loving mother, wife, and sister whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clinton David Bennett.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Lee Bennett of the home; a daughter, Lisa Dawn Crotts (David) of Lexington; two brothers, Clinton Lockhart, Jr. and Darrell Lockhart of Lexington; a sister, Sandy Edmonds (Jeffery) of Lexington; one granddaughter, Zoey Paige Crotts; a niece, Amber Rockwell (James); a nephew, Dakota Edmonds; and a great nephew Clinton Rockwell.
