Richard C Brady

Richard C. Brady, 83, of Lexington, passed away July 20, 2023, at his home.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jason Koontz officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome Burial will follow in the Beck’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Brady was born March 6, 1940, in Randolph County, to the late Melvin Brady and Geneva Hedrick Brady. Richard was a member of Westside Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Navy, and he retired from Lexington Furniture Company after many years of service. He loved to hunt, fish, and spending time at the lake. His passion was his faith and family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who will be missed by all.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 55 years, Louise Berrier Brady of the home, two sons, Deric Brady and wife Mandy, and Mark Brady and wife Leslie, both of Lexington; 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, also surviving is his brother, Bobby Brady (Ann) of Lexington.
