Richard Keith England age 70, of Winston Salem passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his home. A funeral service with Military Honors will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 5, 2013 at The New Mausoleum Chapel at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Melvin Nelums. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Richard was born February 27, 1943 in Mingo County, WV to Elwood Orville England and Helen Maxine Vincent England. He retired after 22 ½ years as Sergeant Major with US Army and also with R J Reynolds Tobacco Co. Preceded in death by his parents, brother; David Paul England. Surviving are his wife of 47 years Carson Smith England of the home, son; Mark Anthony England and wife Denise, daughter; Tammy Suzanne England all of Winston Salem, grandchildren; Brittany A. England, Nicolas King, Demarcus King Sr., great grandchildren; Demarcus King Jr. and Zedikkyah Isiah Mims, brother; Robert Kelsey England and wife Louise of Lexington, sister; Eva K. Brewer of Ohio.
