Richard Carl Gabby

Richard Carl Gabbey age 70, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Lexington Memorial Hospital in North Carolina. Mr. Gabbey was born April 10, 1938 in Pembroke New York, to William Jon Gabbey and Grace Jean Witt Gabbey. He was a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Lexington North Carolina. Mr. Gabbey was a former US Army Military Police and a member of the Veterans Assoc. of North Carolina. Mr. Gabbey is survived by his wife Barbara Jean Gabbey of the home, four sons; Robert Gabbey and wife Tara of Alden, New York, Thomas Gabbey and wife Sandra of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, Patrick Gabbbey and wife Karyn of Lady Island, South Carolina and William Gabbey and wife Sativa of Clovis New Mexico Air Force Base, one daughter; Lori Gabbey of Columbia, South Carolina, three brothers; Ralph Gabbey and wife Rose, Leslie Gabeey both of Akron , New York, and James Gabbey and wife Chris of Fairmont West Virginia. He was also survived by 11 grandchildren and 35 Foster Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at a later date.
