Richard Allen Harmon

Richard Allen Harmon, 75, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Accordius Health Care.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers conducting the services. Burial will follow at Macedonia United Methodist Church.

Mr. Harmon will lie in state on Friday, September 25, 2020, from 12-5 PM. The family will receive friends at the home 3-5 PM Friday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those planning to attend funeral services are asked to practice social distancing and to wear face coverings.

Mr. Harmon was born on July 26, 1945, in Floyd County, Virginia to Lois Owens. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Beverly Fletcher; and step-father, William Owens.

Surviving is a great-nephew, Adam Fleig; and a nephew, David Fleig.
