Richard Marion

Richard Daniel Marion, 58, a resident of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Richard was born in Forsyth County on October 5, 1963, to George and Ellen Gardner Marion. He owned R.D. Electrical for many years. On November 17, 1984, he married the love of his life, Tammy Speer.  Richard was a man who loved his family immensely, especially his granddaughter, Emersyn. He was very active and had many hobbies; Richard loved riding his Harley, drag racing dirt bikes, fishing, biking, and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, George

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Winston-Salem. Entombment will follow the service in Oaklawn Memorial Garden. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the funeral beginning at 10:00 AM. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Tammy Marion of the home, a son, Nick Booe (Sarah) of Clemmons; a brother, Scott Marion of Mocksville; his beloved granddaughter, Emersyn Rae Booe; and his furry K-9 companions, Cooper, Susie, Chester, Buttons, and Lucy.
