Richard "Ricky" Wayne Barrett

Richard (Ricky) Wayne Barrett, age 49 of Whispering Oaks Dr., Lexington died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at his home The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Ost officiating. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. Mr. Barrett was born June 14, 1960, in Westchester County, Va., to Frank D. Barrett and Launa P. Barrett. He was a member of Greensboro Christian Church. Surviving are his companion, Sharon Ellis of the home; his mother of Greensboro; brothers, Russell Barrett and Robbie Barrett and wife, Susan, all of Greensboro; a sister, Renee Moore and husband, Steve of Winston-Salem; nieces and nephews, Jesse Barrett, Rachel Barrett, Stephanie Moore and Stephen Moore; and his baby girl, Neesie. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
