Richard "Ricky" Dwayne Everhart

Richard “Ricky” Dwayne Everhart, 60, of Candlewood Drive, Winston Salem, passed away at his home Thursday May 4, 2017.  A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Immanel New Eden Moravian Church, where he was a member, with Pastor Jason Koontz and Pastor Cheryl Cottingham officiating the services.  Burial will follow in the church graveyard.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel   Mr. Everhart was born August 25, 1956 in Forsyth County to Harry Lee Everhart and Violet Rose Zimmerman Everhart. Ricky attended West Side Baptist Church in Lexington and was formerly employed with Owens Illinois.  His father preceded him in death  Surviving is a son, Josh Everhart; a daughter Roxann Moore of Winston Salem, and their mother Becky Everhart, all of Winston Salem; his mother, Violet Everhart; two brothers, Jimmy Everhart and wife Toni of Winston Salem and Troy Everhart and wife Donna of Illinois; one sister, Donna Franklin and husband Butch of Winston Salem; one granddaughter, Taylor Moore. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
