Richard Mark Rogers

Mark Rogers, 65 recently of Portsmouth NH, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2026, at his home in Lexington, North Carolina. Mark was born in Rochester, NH September 5, 1961, and lived most of his life in the region. An avid hiker, golfer, pool player and loved riding his motorcycle. Mark’s greatest passion and joy was his family and his lifelong friendships. He was best known for his genuine kindness, humor and for always being the first to help others before thinking of himself. 

Mark is survived by his loving wife Beverly; his loving sons Rob and Cole; his stepdaughter Courtney Robbins and her husband Jared; and his beloved grandchildren Lindley, Talon and Everly.

 He is also survived by his brother Scott Berry, his wife Dyan and sons Scott, Jamie, Jeffrey and Sean. His sister, Diane Connors. His brother Brad Berry, sister-in-law Donna and their son Ryan. His sister Christine Rogers Welts, her husband Michael and their children Brittany, Danielle, Brendan and Connor. 

Mark is also remembered by his former wife Kelly, with whom he shared an important chapter of his life and raised their sons, Rob and Cole. 

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Rita, his sister-in-law Susan Berry and his brother in law John Connors. 

A Celebration of Life will be convened at a later date in Rochester NH. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in honor of his memory to Waypoint NH (https://waypoints.org), a child welfare agency that is close to Mark’s heart or a local food bank of your choice.

 In Mark’s final request to his family and friends, he simply asked everyone just “take a hike!”
