Richard Paul Skeen, 52, of North Koontz Road, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. David Netzley. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Skeen was born March, 14, 1953, in Kanawha County, W.Va., to Paul Victor Skeen and Geneva Strickland Skeen. He was employed with AT&T as a billing clerk. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, a Navy veteran and a Christian.
Surviving are his wife , Pixie Setliff Skeen of the home; two sons, David and Patrick Skeen, both of the home; his parents of Welcome; one sister, Vicki Daniele and her husband, Tony, of New Jersey; one niece, Bekah Jordan of Virginia; one nephew, Matthew Daniele of New Jersey; and three sisters-in-law, Thanna Setliff, Vernie Shoaf and her husband, Mark, and Madeline Lockhart.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the parents at 121 Richmond Drive, Welcome.
