Richard Stanley Spong, 55, of Davidson County, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center.
There are no formal services at this time.
Richard was born on August 6, 1968, in Guilford County, to the late Ronald Herbert Spong and Joyce Felix Spong. Richard was known to love hunting and fishing, cooking, and hanging out with his friends.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Rory Spong.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Brandon Spong (Allie); brothers, Ronnie Spong, Rick Spong (Bernadette), Rob Spong (Edy), and Ryan Spong (Sandi); and three grandchildren, Owen, Parker, and Trent.
He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
