Richard Lee Strabley, 62, of Walnut Grove Road, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at his home.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Becks Lutheran Church where he was a member with the Rev. Angela Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Strabley was born October 7, 1953, in Johnson County, Iowa, to Edward Ira Strabley and Anastasia Waters Strabley. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was a glass winder at PPG Industries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Tim Strabley, John Strabley, Ed Strabley, Joe Strabley, and Bob Strabley.
Surviving are son, Johnathan Strabley of Iowa; daughters, Amber Strabley Craver and husband Michael, of Lexington, Danielle Renee Strabley, and Jennifer Michelle Strabley, both of Iowa; grandchildren, Hunter Alan Cole, Henry Andrew Strabley, Jordan Strabley, Jericho Strabley, Owen Dale Strabley, Oliver Daniel Strabley, Jakob Strabley; brothers, Edward Strabley, Ralpyh Strabley and wife Joyce, Mike Strabley and wife Michelle; and sister, Mary Ann Strabley and partner Art of Iowa.
