Rickey Steve Brown

Rickey Steve Brown, 67, of Hollybrook Circle, died Friday, December 21 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, December 26 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Alan Greene.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Brown was born July 19, 1951 in Surry County to Raymond Junior Brown and Dorothy Lee Goodman Brown Pate.  He was a carpenter for B & B Builders and preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Dale Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Darlene Jacobs Brown of the home; his mother “Dot”, of Lexington; his son, Rickey Steve Brown, Jr. (Stacey) of Salisbury; his daughter, Stephanie Lee Brown Parsons (Scott) of Lexington, and Adriane Nicole Poole (Travis) of Marion; his brother, Chris Brown (Betty) of Lexington; ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
