Rickey Dale Jones, 73, of Reedy Creek School Drive in Lexington, passed away Tuesday August 11, 2026, at his home.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 Saturday August 15, 2026, at Good Hope Methodist Church where he was a member, with Mur Dejonge and Rev. Chris Bennett officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral, Lexington Chapel. Mr. Jones was born March 24, 1953, in Davidson County to Roy Anderson Jones and Flora Pauline Weaver Jones. Mr. Jones enjoyed farming, traveling and welding. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving is his brother David Jones (Carol) of Lexington.
