Ricky Wayne Beal

Ricky Wayne Beal, 50, of Broadway Road, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in Alston Brook Nursing Home after a brief illness. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Doug McGee. He was born in Stanly County on Nov. 8, 1957, to Jacob Edward Beal and Sybil Herlocker Beal. He was owner/operator of R&L Transportation Inc. Surviving are his wife, Lila Beal of the home; a son, Chad Allen Beal and his wife, Tonya, of Lexington; a daughter, Christy Beal McBride and her husband, Eric, of Kernersville; three grandchildren, Scholar Beal, Drake Beal and Andrew McBride; his parents of Lexington; and his sisters, Gale Moore and her husband, Joey, of Thomasville, Teresa Harvey and her husband, Rick, Ann Beal and Fran Myers and her husband, Donald, all of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the service and other times at the home of his son at 136 Golden Rod Lane, Lexington.
