Ricky James Bullin, 62, of Duck Hook Circle, Lake Wiley, SC, died Thursday, December 25 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, December 28 at Paul’s Chapel Church, by the Revs. Aaron Long and James Peeler. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Bullin was born April 27, 1952 in Surry County to Billy James Bullin and Doris “Dot” Holcomb Bullin. He was a graduate of North Davidson High School and Gardner Webb College and played football for both schools. He had been a member of Boy Scout Troop 211 at Paul’s Chapel, where he earned his Eagle Scout and God and Country awards. He was a former member of the Asheboro Jaycees and had been active in the Future Farmers of America and the Woodmen of the World in Asheboro. He was sales manager for Masterwrap. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Dot Bullin of Lexington; his son, Zebulon Bullin of Asheboro; his daughter, Lisa Fields (Dean) of Sanford; his brother, Bob Bullin (Tina) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Kevin and Ashley Fields and Zachary and Courtney Bullin; his niece, Alexis Bullin; his nephew, Brent Bullin and friend, Melissa Morgan; and his special friend, Leda Everhart.
