Ricky Van Henson

Ricky Van Henson, 66, of Lexington passed away at his home on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

There are no formal services at this time.

Ricky was born on June 22, 1956, in Mitchell County, to the late Frank and Kathleen Henson. He worked for most of his life for Thomasville Furniture and found joy in building. Ricky was an avid fisherman, loved watching football, especially loved to watch racing, and always held the mountains as his happy place. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joy Henson of the home; two sons, Jerry Price and fiancé, Angela of Lexington, and Joshua Price and wife, Angela of NC; one brother, Michael Henson and wife, Sarah of Troutman; one sister, Loretta Queen; three grandchildren, Dustin Price and wife, Melanie, Tyler Price, and Zack Price; and one great-granddaughter, Josephine Price.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
