Ricky Russell Johnson

Mr. Ricky Russell Johnson, 62, a resident of Lexington, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Lexington Medical Center. Ricky was born on November 30, 1958 in Davidson County to the late Ervin Jackson and Wanda Coppley Johnson. He worked for Xceldyne Technologies in Thomasville. Ricky was a hard worker and was the caretaker of his family. He was compassionate, and helped anyone who was in need. Ricky loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a Nascar fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Johnson.

Ricky is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Johnson (David) of Lexington; brothers, Danny, Randall (Teresa), Michael (Vickie), and Chris (Tonya) all of Lexington; and grandchildren, Dante, Lexis, and Jaxson.

A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington. There will not be a formal visitation. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.davidsonfuneral.net .
