Ricky "Stumpy" Eugene Mcguinn

Ricky Eugene “Stumpy” McGuinn, age 56, of Roy Lopp Road, Lexington passed away Tuesday (November 2, 2010) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday (November 6, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Casey Harris and Pastor Bud Powell officiating. IT WAS THE REQUEST OF “STUMPY” THAT EVERYONE COME IN CASUAL DRESS!!   The family will receive friends following the service. At other times the family will be at the Home.   Ricky was born in Davidson County, December 10, 1953 to Hilliard James McGuinn and Kathleen Gilbert McGuinn.  He was an employee of Thomas Built Buses where he was employed for 38 years.  He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Wayne McGuinn.   Surviving are: his wife, Brenda Beck McGuinn of the home; one daughter, Jennifer McGuinn Auman and husband Dustin of Garner, NC; his mother, Kathleen G. McGuinn of Lexington; one brother, Randy McGuinn and wife Dawn of Lexington; four nieces, Heather, Ashlin, Faith Anna and Rhea; six nephews, Calvin, Jake, Aaron, Gabe, Dylan and Landon.   In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be directed to the National Kidney Foundation, Carolina Region, 4819 Park Road, Charlotte, NC  28209-3842.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
