Robbin Gayle Hamilton Tester, a devoted wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on July 24, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born in Davidson County, the cherished daughter of Harvey Clarence Hamilton and Edna Edith Mann Hamilton.
Throughout her life, Robbin found fulfillment in her work as an inspector for Baker Furniture. Her dedication to her craft and attention to detail made her an invaluable member of the team. Beyond her professional achievements, she had a passion for nurturing life and beauty through gardening and embraced the joy of exploring new places while traveling.
Robbin's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harvey and Edna, and her brother, Larry Hamilton. She leaves behind a loving family to carry her memory in their hearts. Her husband, Denver Jake Tester, was her steadfast companion throughout their journey in life. Their son, Jason Tester, and his wife Jackie were a source of immense pride and joy. Robbin cherished her siblings, Coy Hamilton and his wife Pam, and sister Lillian Chambers and her husband Bill, with whom she shared a strong bond. Additionally, her legacy will live on through her two grandchildren, Jordan Tester and Marcee Jane Tester, whom she loved dearly.
A funeral service to honor Robbin's life will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, July 27, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be officiated by Rev. David Langley. Following the service, Robbin will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital. This gesture reflects Robbin's caring nature and her desire to bring hope and healing to those in need.
