Robert 'Bobby' Lee Thompson

Robert “Bobby” Thompson, 75, of Verdeen Drive in Lexington, passed away Saturday. January 16, 2021 at his home.

A  private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. David Langley conducting services.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending the services are asked to practice social distancing and to wear a face covering.

Mr. Thompson was born April 11, 1945 in Fairfax, VA to  Allen Sanford Thompson and Susie Kate Wicker Thompson. Mr. Thompson loved to fish, watch football and Westerns and spending time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Teresa Haga Thompson and a brother, William Thompson.

Surviving is two sons; Jeff Thompson (Tammy) of Churchland, and Rick Thompson( Sherry) of Lexington; three brothers, David Thompson (Katherine) of Lexington, James Thompson (Darlene) of Welcome and Clyde Thompson of Lexington; four step sons, Billy Haga (Sonya),Travis Haga (Jennifer), Chris Haga (Tammy) and Paul Haga, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
