Robert Claude Buckland

Robert Claude Buckland, 64, of Davidson County, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, surrounded by his family, at his home.

There are no formal services at this time and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Robert was born on September 10, 1959, to the late Claude H. Buckland and Norma Frances Buckland. He worked his entire career as a truck driver and loved every minute of it. He enjoyed helping others and was known and loved by everyone he encountered. Robert was known for his optimism and positive outlook on life and his great sense of humor. He was a kind soul who never let obstacles stop him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Karen, of the home; daughters, Crystal Leath (Michael), Kassie Miller (Cameron), and Katlyn Miller; sons, Derick Pennell (Patti), and John Pennell (Becky); sisters, Deborah Menke, Barbara Gillick (Kenny), Regina Knoble, and Miranda Swearengin (Avery); brother, Dwayne Buckland; grandchildren, JP, Payson, DJ, Matthew, Raelynn, Andrew, Jaxton, Isaiah, and Karissa; and many beloved extended family members.
