Robert Charles "Bobby" Everhart

Robert Charles “Bobby” Everhart, age 77, of Franklin Street, Lexington went to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, August 19, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Becks Lutheran Church with the Rev. Angie Jackson and the Rev. Joe Solomon officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday and at other times at the home of his daughter, 109 Saintsbury Place, Lexington. Bobby was born in Davidson County, September 6, 1934 to Arthur Lee Everhart and Vernell Clodfelter Everhart. He was a member of True Word Baptist Church; and retired from Hardee’s of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, of 44 years Loretta Katen Everhart; son, John Robert Everhart and a sister, Sandra Whicker. Surviving are; daughter, Melody L. Everhart and husband Bud of Lexington; son, Jamie Everhart and wife Selina of Lexington; four grandchildren, Christina Wallace, Rebecca Harvey, Joshua Everhart and Alyssa Everhart; sisters, Ruth Lord of Goodlettsville, TN, Iris Brown of Kingsport, TN, Frances Hedrick, Judy Smith and Linda Hunt all of Lexington; brother, Garland Everhart of Winston Salem; former son-in-law, Garry Harvey.
