Robert Lee Coppley Jr.

Robert Lee Coppley, Jr, 57, of Riverview Rd. Ext., Lexington died Saturday, July 28, 2012 after a illness of four years. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday August 1, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Moretz officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the church, just prior to the service. Mr. Coppley was born December 18, 1954 in Davidson County to Robert Lee Coppley, Sr. and Ruth Pierce Coppley. Robert was retired with the Davidson County Emergency Services and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He volunteered with Linwood Fire Department and the Davidson County Rescue Squad. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Moretz Coppley of the home; a son, Scottie Lee Coppley and with, Kristy of Lexington; a daughter, Christy Clonch and husband, Marty of Lexington; five grandchildren, Tyler Coppley, Courtney Coppley, Kelsey Clonch, Caleb Clonch, Bailee Spellenberg; a brother, Franklin Pierce Coppley of Clemmons; three sisters, Vickie Lookabill, Charm Dalton both of Lexington, Bobbie Illman of Troy.
