Robert Curtis Everhart

Robert Curtis Everhart, 77, passed away on October 20, 2026, in Anson County. He was born on November 10, 1948, in Lexington, North Carolina, to the late Ralph Edward Everhart and Fannie Jean Thompson Everhart.

Robert was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army, attaining the rank of SP4. He enjoyed a simple life and especially loved fishing.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Edna Wood Everhart.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Christie Sherman (Marty) and Carla Lilly; his brother, Joel Everhart; his sisters, Sherry Garwood (Benny), Deborah Lansdell, Belinda Kesler, and Tonya Walker (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley, Braley, and Samuel Sherman; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert will be private.

Robert will be remembered for his service to his country, and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
