Robert Ellis Everhart, 83, of Tall Pines Road, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after an accident Oct. 22.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel by the Revs. Dennis Marshall and David Hedrick. Burial will follow at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree and other times at the home of his daughter on Tall Pines Road.
Mr. Everhart was born in Davidson County on June 14, 1928, to Raymond Otha Everhart and Annie Irene Craver Everhart. He was retired from dairy farming and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Otha Everhart and Ray Donald Everhart.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Pickett Everhart of the home; son Joel Robert Everhart and wife Phyllis and daughter Marsha Everhart Berrier and husband Gary, all of Lexington; grandchildren Christy Stilwell and husband Shane, Robbie Everhart and wife Salina, Jennifer Kincaid and husband Jason and Jessica Nehra and husband Varun; great-granddaughter Laney Stilwell; and sister-in-law Drusilla Everhart.
Memorials may be directed to Bethesda United Methodist Church
