Robert Franklin Kepley

Robert Franklin Kepley, 77, of East First Street Ext., died suddenly Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at Second Reformed United Church of Christ with the Rev. Dr. Joe Coltrane officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church and other times at the home. Mr. Kepley was born May 10, 1934, in Davidson County to William Ranson Kepley and Dollie Lanning Kepley. He was retired from Cosa Industries and a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Retta Mae Louya Kepley of the home; sons, Robert Forrest Kepley of Lexington; daughter, Coreathea Bracken and husband, James, of Lexington; grandchildren, Carl Bracken, Ashley Bracken, Regina Kepley, and Alisha Kepley; and brothers, Raymond Kepley of Lexington and James Kepley of Thomasville.
