Robert Hendricks Jr., 76, of Piedmont Crossing, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Eric Disher. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.
Mr. Hendricks was born in Davidson County on May 12, 1930, to Robert Glenn Hendricks Sr. and Thelma Hendrix Hendricks. He served as a Marine during the Korean Conflict and was a retired account executive at Furniture Makers Supply Co. Mr. Hendricks was a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rosalie Gay Hendricks.
Surviving are four daughters, Gay Elliot and her husband, Ret, of Mooresville, and Robin Robertson and her husband, Danny, and Ginger Richardson and her husband, Bobby, all of Lexington, and Becky Eiane and her husband, Per, of Texarkana, Texas; and 10 grandchildren, Zeb Elliot, Chandler Elliot, Tyler Robertson, Caleb Robertson, Kelsey Richardson, Maddie Taylor, Carly Taylor, Alicia Eiane, Kirsten Eiane and Brynjulf Eiane.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home of a daughter, Robin, 1622 Warf Road.
