Robert Clay Hunt

Robert Clay Hunt, 90 of Lexington, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Center.

Mr. Hunt will lie in state at 10:00am on Sunday, August 30 ^th at Central Baptist Church with a funeral service following at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Jeff Perdue.  Private burial with military Army rites will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic social distancing and a mask are required at the service and home.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, August 29 ^th at the home.

Mr. Hunt was born on June 2, 1930 in Davidson County to David Hill Hunt and Clara Bell Cooper Hunt.  He retired from Link Taylor and was a member of Central Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Gallimore.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Doris Yarbrough Hunt, of the home; son, Keith Hunt (fiancé, Jan Fritts) of Lexington and Merle Owen of Denton and numerous extended family.
