Robert Lewis Berrier

Robert “Bob” Lewis Berrier, of Welcome, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

A service to honor Bob will be held at a later date.

Robert was born on July 31, 1930, to Henry Lindsey Berrier and Minnie Grethen Cassady Berrier in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 73 years, Cora Maxine Berrier; his son, Robert Craig Berrier (Jeannie); one sister, Allene Berrier Fry; brothers William Russell Berrier, Cecil Edward Berrier, and Douglas “Butch” Berrier.

Robert enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply. Durning the warmer months, he could be found waving from the Berrier boat house as familiar faces pass by enjoying High Rock Lake.

Left to cherish his memory are three grandchildren, Robert “Brent” Berrier (Misty), Michael Varner (Beth), and Michelle Evans (Todd); seven great-grandchildren, Montanna Berrier, Chezney Norman, Brielyn Berrier, Chad Evans, Ashley Anderson (Ben), Landon Varner, and Hadley Varner; and four great-great-grandchildren, Bennett, Brittly, Hunter, and Holton Anderson; three nephews, Dwayne, Rick and Chuck Hinkle.

Bob will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
