Robert Michael "Mike" Lineberry

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Michael Lineberry, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Robert passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Winston-Salem, NC, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on Sunday, April 21, 1957, Robert grew up in a close-knit family, who instilled in him values of kindness, hard work, and love for others. A gentle soul, Robert was known for his easygoing nature and his innate ability to make friends wherever he went.

Robert's love for music was evident in every strum of his guitar, an instrument he played with passion and skill. He found joy and tranquility in the simple pleasures of life, such as spending the early morning hours fishing on the serene waters, honing his golf swing on the greens, or cheering for his cherished UNC Tarheels.

His commitment and dedication were reflected both in his professional life as a hard worker and in his personal life, where his laid-back demeanor made him easy to get along with. Robert's warmth and zest for life were infectious, leaving lasting impressions on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 39 years, Pamela Lineberry, and their beloved daughter, Morgan Lineberry, both of the home. Robert is also survived by his brother, Daniel Lineberry, and wife Dana of North Carolina, and his sister, Carol Germain , and husband Lee of Alabama. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Clara Lineberry.

A gathering to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Friends and family are invited to share their treasured memories and honor the legacy of a remarkable man who touched many lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, reflecting Robert's generous spirit and his lifelong dedication to helping others.
