Robert Ulysuss Miller

Robert Ulysuss Miller age 80 of Winston-Salem passed away early Sunday, morning, September 28, 2014 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Bethesda United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 with the Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Robert was born in Davidson County on September 7, 1934 to Jamie Elmer and Collieree Swing Miller. He was a graduate of North Davidson High School, served in the US Army and worked at R.H. Barringer. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Claude James Miller and a sister, Dorothy Miller. Surviving is his wife Lois Ann Everhart Miller of the home, daughters, Susan Miller Freedell (Rick) of Lexington, Robin Miller Anderson (Michael) of Mooresville, Louwon Miller Loman (Todd) of Thomasville, brothers, Billy Joe Miller, Jerry Wayne Miller (Brenda), John Odell Miller (Linda) all of Lexington, sisters, Irene Miller Spaugh of Lexington, Anita Miller Hunt of Plymouth, NC, grandchildren, Tina Cooper (Tracy), Joshua Guy, Austin Loman, Rena Anderson, Blake Loman, Jamie Anderson; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
