Robert Earl Moore, Jr. (Bob) of Lexington peacefully passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018.
A graveside funeral service will be at 3pm, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Forest Hills Cemetery, in Rock Hill, SC, with Pastor Joel McMakin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel, Winston-Salem, NC.
Bob was born October 23, 1940 in Kent, Ohio to Robert Earl Moore, Sr. and Dorothy Smith Moore. He was a former sports writer for The Charlotte Observer, and retired from RJR in public relations, specializing in management and special events there.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Robbie Craig ;brothers, William Moore and Richard Moore
He is survived by his wife, Linda Avery Moore of the home; daughter, Tonya Craig of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Jon Moore (Cathy) of California; grandson, William Craig (Monica) of Indian Land, SC; and four great-grandchildren.
Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the Moore Family.
