Robert Thomas Owen

Robert Owen, 69, of Davidson County, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will directly follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM before the service at the funeral home.

Robert was born on July 1, 1953, in New York, to the late William Barron Owen Sr. and Norma Hein Owen. He retired from Ikon Copier Solutions where he worked for many years. Robert was very active and loved kayaking, pickleball, motorcycling, and tinkering with his solar panels. He enjoyed travelling and had a special love for Yellowstone Park. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, , Stephanie Owen, and husband, Vincent Serritella of Maryland, Christine Owen of Lexington; son, Robert Owen Jr. and wife, Anna Greene of Lexington; brother, William “Barry” Owen Jr. and wife, Carolyn of Lexington; sister, Sheryl Owen of Welcome; grandchildren, Angel Marie Klein and Jackson Conner Owen; and many family and close friends.
