Robert Clinton “RC” Bull, 77, formerly of Sink Inn Road, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, in Winston-Salem following a serious illness which he fought four months.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home, with Sister Emma Milam, the Revs. Jamie Autry and Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of his daughter on Avalon Drive.
Mr. Bull was born April 16, 1935, in Guilford County, to Clinton A. Bull and Vora Gladys Parrish Bull. He had worked in the machine room at Dixie Furniture Company and was a member of Meadowview Deliverance Tabernacle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Robert Bull; one grandchild, David Eugene Bull; and a sister, Joann Reid.
Surviving are his loving wife, Lydia Jeanette Meadows Bull of the home; sons, Rodney “Red” Bull and wife, Sylvia, and Jeffrey Alan Bull, all of Lexington; daughters, Charlotte Denise Moore and husband, the Rev. Robert Moore, of Lehigh Acres, Fl., Robin Jeanette Sink and husband, Dwight, Angela Maria Brinkley and husband, Bobby, both of Lexington, Amy Corinne Lahaie and husband, Drew, of Kernersville, and Cynthia Roselle Campbell and husband, Dennis, of Pittsboro; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Bull and wife, Pauline, of Summerfield; and sisters, Rosa Lee Pruitt of Salisbury, and Carolyn Mabe and husband, Jimmy, of Oak Ridge.
