Robert` Louis Stubbs Sr

Robert Louis Stubbs Sr., 78, of Lexington, passed away December 12, 2022, at Accordius Health of Lexington, after being in declining health for several years.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Bynum United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bynum NC. The family will receive friends Friday night January 13, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Stubbs was born November 5, 1944, in Chatham County, to Don Rufus Stubbs and Lucille Tickle Stubbs. Louis loved to travel and old cars. During the last several months he came to know the Christ as his savior. Louis was a loving father, brother, and friend who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Stubbs, and Don Stubbs,

Left to cherish his memories are his companion of 23 years, Mary Ruth Foust of Lexington, his sons, Robert Louis Stubbs Jr., and Jonathan Christopher Stubbs, his brothers, Tommy Stubbs of Oxford NC, Joe Stubbs of Durham, and Roger Stubbs of Pittsboro, also surviving is his pet dog Dixie
