Robert “Tommy” Williams, Jr. age 70, of Sunnyside Drive, Lexington passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 10:00 until 11:00 am Friday prior to the service.
Tommy was born in Horry County, SC April 14, 1941 to Robert Williams, Sr. and Fannie Watts Williams. He was a retired employee of Lexington Furniture after 40 years and after retirement worked with J.J’s Lawn Care; and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dolly Hendrix and Helen Grice; and brother, Bud Williams.
Surviving are; two daughters, Pam Berrier of Lexington and Stacy Williams of Linwood; four grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Berrier; Chloe Richardson and Emma Williams; sisters, Frankie Bailey of Conway, SC and Frances Jernigan of Lexington; brothers, Waldo Williams and wife Chris; Harvey Williams and wife Kathy; John Williams and wife Martha all of Lexington; a special friend, Phyllis Blankenship of Lexington; sister-in-law, Dean Williams of Tabor City, NC.
