Robert Junior Wilson

Robert Junior Wilson, 65, of Lindy Road, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at his home after an illness of eight months. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park by Chaplain Benn Fleming. Mr. Wilson was born Aug. 17, 1940, in Davidson County to Thomas Jefferson Wilson and Florence Beck Wilson. He was a retired truck driver for Metal Industries and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife, Rosann Iannotti Wilson of the home; one son, Glenn Wilson and his wife, Bobbie, of Tyro; one stepson, Scott Piner; one sister, Hazel Leonard and her husband, Bud, of Salisbury; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson, Crystal Wilson and Kimberly Wilson. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the VA Hospital and Hospice of Davidson County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday at Davidson Funeral, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home.
