Roberta Kathleen Ziglar

Roberta Kathleen Carter Ziglar age 51 of Tom Livengood Road passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Farmington Baptist Church (Mocksville, NC) with Pastor Phillip Brande officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the residence. Kathy was born in Davidson County on July 21, 1958 to Beuford Junior and Betty Jo Gates Carter. She previously worked at Duracell and was a member of Farmington Baptist Church. One of Kathy’s favorite past times was racing and being involved with various race teams at Bowman Gray Statium. Her parents preceded her in death and her husband Paul Stephen Ziglar on January 27, 2005. Surviving are a daughter Tonia Cornett and husband Derek of Winston-Salem, a brother; Randy Carter of King, and two brother-in-laws, Gary Ziglar and wife Brenda of Southmont and Terry Ziglar and wife Marmie of Maryland, four sisters; Sue McGee, Pam Johnson, Robin Nifong all of Winston-Salem and Sharon Creasman and husband Chan of Thomasville, one grandchild; Carter Bryce Cornett, and a special niece RaeVen; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
