Roby Leonard

Roby Clay Leonard, age 88 of Helmstetler Road, Lexington passed away Monday afternoon in Lexington Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, conducted by Pastor Howard Baker, and friend Rev. Bill Sosebee. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Roby was born in Davidson County March 26, 1919 to Henry Clay Leonard and Zella May Sink Leonard. He was a welder and sheet metal fabricator retiring from Fab Masters and a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Surviving are: wife; Elizabeth (Lib) Hargrove Leonard of the home, 2 sons; Randy Leonard and wife Janet of Winston Salem and Jeff Leonard and wife Dana of Wallburg, 3 grand-daughters; Rachel, Madelyn and Haylee Leonard. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 until 8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
