Rocky Cline Mcintyre, beloved son and brother left us to be with his savior May 15, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
A celebration of Rocky’s life will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. A private burial at Lexington City Cemetery will follow the service.
Rocky was born August 8, 1962, in Lexington, to the late Robert Mcintyre and Nancy Powell Spencer. Although he was not a fan of school, he started working at a young age of 13, his career included Parkdale, Dixie, City of Lexington, and cleaning parking lots. You could have found Rocky cruising the streets of Lexington most any day of the week. He loved his moped and would hang fishing poles off the back and head to the river to do his favorite hobby, fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mcintyre, who died in 2010; stepfather, Owen Spencer who died in 2003; and his beloved sister, Patricia Mcintyre Tester who died in 2012.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Nancy Powell Spencer, of Lexington; his sister, Melinda Spencer Berrier; niece, Montanna Berrier; twin nephews, Joseph and Jason Lowder; aunts, Nellie Stafford and Betsy Johnson.
