Rodney Paul Kinney

Rodney Paul Kinney, age 56 of NC Highway 8, Lexington passed away Friday (November 13, 2009) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  A Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Monday (Nov. 16, 2009) at Salisbury National Cemetery with Rev. Terry Watkins officiating.   Rodney was born in Davidson County, February 4, 1953 to Ivan Delmar Kinney and Mary Gobble Kinney.  He was a former employee in the heating and cooling industry and of the Baptist faith.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Barry and Allen Kinney.   Surviving are; wife Robin Harmon Kinney of the home; three daughters, Jennifer Renee Kinney Grubb and husband Travis of Lexington, Melody Dawn Kinney Rivers and husband Erik of Welcome and Kimberly  Nicole Kinney of the home; two sons, Gregory Stuart Kinney of Lexington and Joshua Paul Kinney of the home; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Mary Gobble Kinney of Lexington; one sister, Darlene Holmes of Lexington; one brother, James Kinney of Franklin Square, NY.   There will be no formal visitation.  Arrangements are with Davidson Funeral Home Lexington.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
