Roger Alfred Jolly

Roger Alfred Jolly, age 79, passed away at Hinkle Hospice House on Saturday, March 2, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 18, 1944, in Forsyth County to the late Dan and Beulah Jolly. Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Owen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Jolly, of the home, two sons, Roger Jolly and Scott Jolly (Amber), daughter Cindy Sealey (Rickey), and five grandchildren, Brittany Almond, Justin Jolly, Zack Sealey, Hayden Jolly and Emma Sealey.  He is also survived by a brother, Jim Jolly (Brenda), and brothers-in-law, J.D. Owen and Pat Tillotson (Vicky).

Roger dedicated much of his life to his profession as a Truck Driver for Allied Trucking, where his hard work and dedication were deeply appreciated by colleagues and clients alike.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. Visitation of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roger's name to the Hinkle Hospice Home.
