Roger Lee Hall

Roger Lee Hall, 67, of Wafford Road, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at his home, following several years of declining health. The funeral will be noon Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Little Dove Baptist Church of Guesses Fork, Va., with the Revs. Danny Hurley and David Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Family Cemetery, Grundy Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Hall was born September 17, 1943, in Hurley, Va., to Miles Hall and Edna Deel Hall. He was retired from Grinnell Fire Protection and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Miles Junior Hall, Bobby Glenn Hall and Wayne Hall; and sister, Martha Hall Smith. Surviving are his wife, Wilma Justice Hall of the home; son, Roger Dale Hall and wife, Joyce; daughter, Monica Hall Cassar of Lexington; five grandchildren, JoAnn Sink, Emily Bennett, Chasity Hall, Courtney Cassar, and Mariah Hamm; great-grandsons, Dustin Dale Ellis and Carson Lee Ellis; brother, James F. Hall and wife, Janie, of Virginia; and sister, Brenda Hall Darby and husband, James, of Tennessee.
