Roger Dale Medlin

Roger Dale Medlin, 47, of Turner Road, died Monday, October 1, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jamie Kent officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his sister on Numa Byerly Road. Mr. Medlin was born November 26, 1964, in Davidson County, to James “Fat” Harvey Medlin Jr. and Florence Ruth Clodfelter Medlin. He was a graduate of Central Davidson High School; and a general contractor with Mike Pierce Construction. Surviving are his parents of Lexington; son, Logan Medlin of Lexington; daughter, Ashley Humphrey and husband Shane of Lexington; grandchildren, Hayden Humphrey and Gage Humphrey; brother, Mark Medlin of Lexington; sister, MaryAnn Medlin of Lexington; and a cousin, Sharon Clodfelter.
